Important contract, payment, overtime, cancellation and service conditions for projects performed by R&J Traffic Control.

CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS.

R&J Traffic Control establishes project terms and pricing before services are performed. Contracts must be reviewed, approved and signed by the parties before work begins.

The following information summarizes the standard terms applicable to R&J Traffic Control services.

All contracts are subject to approval before execution.

Each contract must be signed by the parties with agreement and consent regarding the rates established before the work is performed.

CONTRACT & PAYMENT TERMS.

These conditions outline the standard financial and administrative requirements associated with R&J Traffic Control projects.

Contract Approval

All contracts are subject to approval before services are executed.

Signed Agreement

Contracts must be signed by the parties with agreement regarding the rates established in advance.

50% Initial Payment

Rates are based on the conditions of the work to be performed. A 50% initial payment is required, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the contract.

Approved Payment Methods

Payments must be made directly to R&J Traffic Control through approved company payment methods.

  • Bank transaction
Cash payments are not accepted.

HOURS, OVERTIME & DISPATCH.

Certain working conditions may result in overtime, minimum dispatch charges or emergency service rates.

OVERTIME

1½ Times Standard Rate

Overtime rates apply to hours worked beyond eight (8) hours in a workday, more than forty (40) hours during a week, or work performed on weekends.

EMERGENCY SERVICE

Emergency Mobilization

Emergency service will mobilize within four (4) hours following the service call and will be charged at the overtime rate.

For work outside the city or more than 1.5 hours away, an estimated arrival time will be provided when the request is received.

MINIMUM DISPATCH

Four-Hour Minimum

A minimum charge of four (4) hours per flagger / traffic-control technician applies to any dispatch.

12-HOUR NOTICE REQUIRED.

A minimum of twelve (12) hours notice before the scheduled starting time is required for cancellation of a job.

If the required notice is not provided, R&J Traffic Control will apply the minimum four (4) hour charge per flagger / traffic-control technician.

Late cancellations are subject to the four-hour minimum charge.

OTHER TERMS TO CONSIDER.

Additional project conditions may affect the final cost of services.

Equipment

Equipment required to perform closures will be billed according to R&J Traffic Control's standard daily equipment rates.

Project Expenses

The client is responsible for unavoidable parking, hotel, ferry, toll or similar charges required by the work location.

Labor Rates

Hourly labor rates listed in the standard pricing are non-union and non-prevailing-wage rates.

Prevailing Wage Pricing

R&J Traffic Control has the ability to establish P.W. pricing when required.

Standard Closure Rates

Standard listed rates assume a standard lane closure or closure utilizing flagging operations.

Additional Closures

Additional closures will be quoted separately as required or requested.

OUT-OF-TOWN PROJECTS

MOBILIZATION REQUIREMENTS

Projects located more than 1.5 hours from the nearest R&J Traffic Control location require advance mobilization.

$50.00 PER HOUR
VALID THROUGH 12/31 2026

PRICING VALIDITY.

The standard price list is valid through December 31, 2026.

An increase of 4% per item will be added for each additional year.

CONTRACT TERMS

Final pricing, project requirements and service conditions are governed by the agreement executed between R&J Traffic Control and the client.
